Fresh off the back of the star-studded Golden Globes, the Oscars 2019 took Tinsel town by storm. After a phenomenal year of change in Hollywood, the most prestigious night in the awards season calendar was yet another soirée that went down in history.
The 91st Academy Awards, commonly referred to as The Oscars had no host, no Most Popular Film award, and no awards given out during commercials. And the award for best dressed at the 2019 Oscars goes to… OK, we can’t pick just one.
We were positively blown away by the stars’ style this year, which included gleaming metallics and vibrant hues.
Here are our favorites.
The actor wore a smart black tux by Tom Ford. His red carpet look was stunningly gorgeous.
Bradley performed “Shallow” with Lady Gaga and it freezed the moment. Bradley cooper looked like a complete snack!

Perhaps the most surprising beauty story to emerge from the 2019 Oscars was the trend for brunette bobs.
A dark-haired Charlize Theron showed up in a backless, slate blue Dior gown with long sleeves and a pointed shoulder. She wore more than 300 carats of diamonds and almost 20 carats of sapphires from BVLGARI’s Serpenti collection. Theron was totally on board with the idea of saying goodbye to her blonde tresses.

Billy Porter’s Red Carpet look was the first knockout of the night. He made an appearance in an instantly iconic tuxedo dress. Could anything top it? No. Absolutely not. OK, so the jaw-dropping, show-stopping Christian Siriano gown that Billy Porter wore to the 2019 Oscars isn’t a suit, technically. However — however — it is concrete proof that we need more ensembles with a tuxedo top half and ball-gown bottom, and a perfect example of everything good that is now happening in the world of red carpet fashion.
But the reason no one has stopped talking about Porter’s gorgeous dress is that it’s new and fresh, and it bypasses all the shitty gender norms many of us feel subject to in our regular lives, and he wore it on the grand scale of a world stage.

Gone are the days when every woman is expected to wear a gown and every man a tuxedo on the red carpet. Regardless of gender, the looks at the 2019 Academy Awards and other shows this year prove more celebrities than ever are choosing suits as their go-to black-tie wear.
At just 15 years old, Elsie Fisher is already acing the red carpet in a unique way. And to complement her chic black suit for the Oscars — which, like Stephan James’s, was made from a luxurious velvet — the Eighth Grade actress wore her first set of false lashes. Elsie is wearing a Thom Browne suit and stick-straight hair, so we wanted a graphic eye look with similarly clean lines.

Not only did Aquaman and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa wear a beautiful pale pink look on the Oscars 2019 red carpet, he matched it to a perfectly coordinated scrunchie(which sent fans into meltdown). He looked like an absolute “Hawaiian god”
So yum! Sorry but not sorry.

The “If Beale Street Could Talk” actress arrived to the Oscars Sunday night donning a classic white Oscar de la Renta number, which featured a serious slit on the left side. The Best Supporting Actress nominee reportedly topped off her radiant look with Chopard jewels. Regina King’s 2019 Oscars Dress Has THE Sexiest Slit We’ve Ever Seen.
High-slit gowns have long been a staple of the Oscars red carpet since pretty much forever. But out of all the leg-bearing, sexy dresses we’ve seen, Regina King’s from this year’s Academy Awards is easily one of the best. Not surprisingly, her elegant outfit received nothing but praise online, with Twitter users gushing that she “looks like a goddess” and “truly gorgeous.”
Rami Malek has made history by becoming the first actor of Arab heritage to win the best actor Oscar. His crooked bow tie at the Oscars 2019 red carpet will become a thing soon(We loved it :P)
Above all, He looked dapper in a Saint Laurent tux by Anthony Vaccarello and groomer Marissa Machado made sure that the actor looked classy yet edgy overall. The man can dress!
