Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Acne

Every girl has one common enemy, i.e. Acne.. Am I right??? Acne is a common skin problem that affects people of all ages. There is no definitive cause of acne but surely there are some things that may cause acne, they are Sleep deprivation, too much stress, unhealthy eating habits and a hectic lifestyle can also cause acne. The natural remedies are the best way to get rid of acne.

Listed Below are the Few Home Remedies for Curing Acne:

Apply Milk and Honey / Yogurt

Milk and Honey

Take a normal yogurt (not chilled) or milk. Mix 1 tablespoon of milk or yogurt thoroughly with 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply the mixture with a cotton pad by tapping it on affected areas. Apply one more layer after the first layer dries up and then leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off and apply some moisturiser on it after drying it up.

Egg white

Rinse your face with water and pat dry. Take 2-3 eggs and Separate the whites from the yolks and then Whisk the whites until they’re frothy and leave this for 2-3 minutes and then apply it to affected areas with fingertips and leave it to dry and then apply few more layers after each layer dries up. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash it with warm water and then apply moisturiser on drying.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree Oil

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Dilute tea tree oil with water as in a ratio of 1:9 means one part of tea tree oil to 9 parts of water. Take a cotton ball and dip it in the mixture and apply it to affected areas. You can apply a light moisturizer after washing the face. (Note: – Tea Tree Oil should never be applied undiluted).

Apply Aloe Vera Gel

Apply Aloe Vera Gel

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Using your fingertips applies the aloe directly or Aloe Vera gel to your problem areas.

Avocado & Honey Mask

Avocado & Honey Mask

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Take inside of the avocado and mash it up, then stir in the honey until it becomes a thick paste. Apply it to your affected areas and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash it with the lukewarm water and apply moisturiser on drying.

Mint Leaves

Mint Leaves

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Crush the leaves to take out the juice from it and rub the juice or crushed leaves on your face and leave for 5-10 minutes before rinsing off thoroughly with cold water.

Potato Juice

Potato Juice

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Take out the juice of potato or slice of potato and rub it on the face and leave it for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

Apply Some Apple Cider Vinegar

Apply Some Apple Cider Vinegar

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Using a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water and then take a cotton ball and dip it in the mixture to apply on affected areas and leave it for 10-15 minutes and wash it off with water and apply moisturiser.

Orange Peel Paste

Orange Peel Paste

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Grind 2-3 orange peels thoroughly and mix a little water in it to make a thick paste. Apply it on the affected areas and keep for 20-25 minutes and then wash it off with water and apply moisturiser.

Lemon Juice

Lemon Juice

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Take some lemon juice in a bowl and apply it with fingertips or cotton ball on affected areas. After 20 minutes, wash it off with water and apply moisturiser. You can also mix lemon juice in yogurt and apply it works the same.

Cinnamon and Honey Mask

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Mix 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon together till the time they get thoroughly mixed up into a paste. Apply it to affected areas and leave for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off and apply moisturiser.

Papaya Paste

Papaya Paste

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Mesh up some papaya thoroughly so that it becomes easy to apply on skin. Apply it in the skin and then leave for 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water and apply moisturiser.

Strawberries and Honey Paste

Strawberries and Honey Paste

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Rinse 3 strawberries and crush them so that they don’t get messed up more, but only that much which can be applied to the skin. Add the strawberries to two teaspoons of honey and mix them well to form a paste. Apply it to the skin and leave it for 20 minutes and wash it off with warm water and apply moisturiser.

Banana peel

Banana peel

Take the peel, and rub in a circular motion all over your face. Leave it for 30 minutes and then wash it off with water and apply moisturiser.

These simple home remedies can prevent new acne from forming and remove the old ones along with their scar marks from your face.
